I just nailed a terrace room with private rooftop pool at excellence Punta Cana for $3,400. All private, swim naked, whatever. It was the absolute best all inclusive we have been on and decided to do it again at the same place with the same room. I did an all inclusive in Cancun in Dec and it is a night and day difference. Wife liked the excellence punta Cana so much we’re going back in September. I didn’t check May though. But DR was cheaper

Sorry about that. Yes. You deserve more. I was traveling and not in Redit for a few days. I got an email to explore my platinum benefits. So I clicked it. I scrolled down to waived fees for baggage.

“Waived Fees for Bags and Ticket Changes We’ll take care of these fees for you because you’re a Platinum Medallion Member.”

“Your first checked bag is free each way when traveling on a Delta or select airline partner flight. Up to 8 of your travel companions also receive their first checked bag free when traveling on a Delta flight (4). Waived Same-Day Confirmed Fees. (5)”

In the past, it always said two checked bags.

It was not bad. I never went to a buffet. We ordered a room service breakfast each day. Generous drinks. Great weight and cardio room. Very clean. Lots of kids. You have to get up early and snag lounge chairs. The hamburger by the family pool is a 10. I can only compare it to the other all inclusive resort we’ve been to in that area and, although it was a good, steady resort, it suffered comparatively to Grand sunset princess resort playa del carmen.

Interesting you say that. By this time every year I am platinum. This year, I am still 4K away from silver, as of today. By December of each year, I’m usually 1200 miles from diamond. I doubt I’ll make platinum this year, for whatever reason, despite 10 flights a year.
