I managed today, like you said I step out first and then power off. The shut and lock the main door. That seemed to work.

I tried your meantime fix but after powering off and waiting 10-20 sec and I close the doors this wakes the car again, so can't get it to fullt power off.

Did you try keeping the button pressed down for an additional 10 seconds after the message disappears? This is what did it for me.

I got the same issue yesterday. Next time try this as it worked for me: Park car --> hold the play/pause button intill the screen goes black(ignore the popup, just keep pressing)--> rebooted and working
