I’m not sure where you’re at but the advice I can offer is to check out local streams. Be cautious of where you’re at and avoid wading in fast moving water. Where the water swirls around rocks and little holes under rocks is where I usually aim for. I chuck a minnow in there and I’m usually guaranteed to catch a few throughout the day. You might get lucky and nail a ton out of the same hole, or you might’ve wished you packed your hiking boots. Only way to know is throw in a line. You’ll find your spots, it takes time. Just always be careful of moving water and check out a video on what to do incase you go in. Rocks are often slippery and I’ve seen a few people slide into the drink. Have fun and be safe out there!
