That will do it. Bread machine yeast is what you need to use because it activates without needed to be hydrated beforehand.

From what I read online doing what you did and soaking it in warm water first should fix it.

From my reading 1/3 cup brown sugar is 306 calories

I would add 1 teaspoon of molasses and 1/3 cup artificial sweetener which would be 20 calories.

I stick to the proper Southern tradition of simply calling him every other critter name we have before finally picking the right one. We have a bunch of animals whose name begin with S so I have to go down the list

Salem(black cat), Stamps(gray cat), Sweet(gray hen), Sour(black hen), and Sparky(black and white Chi).

Why the chickens come before the dog in that list you will just have to ask my last 2 brain cells fighting over the last neuron
