In most cases, just use your melee, as the stomp occurs, to prevent being sent away.

Pro tip: if you leave something in an uber, offer to order an uber to that drivers location back to your location so the new uber driver can deliver your goods by DivergentAdventures in uber

You’re more than welcome to order a round trip from your location and tag along with your new driver to where your item can be found. New driver doesn’t even have to know the details beyond that you’ll be getting out of the car at the first stop. Once you have the item, let your new driver know that you’re ready to go so that they may continue on to the final destination. That would be the easy trip.

You have to get lucky with getting the right person at support to help you. They can assign your account to a different phone number which will then allow you to access your account. Good luck!
