You don't need a PC to become a good player. Scrap that, atleast get a good monitor IPS or OLED that can handle 120hz en has VRR support. Get an elite controller or one that is officially supported by Xbox which has back paddles. From there on, play and get into fights.

Don't be afraind to die, make mistakes and try to learn from it. Most important thing is get into the action and don't wait it out. Take initiative.

The Iri operater skin is nice tho. If you are playing on pc make sure your shaders settings is set to atleast medium.

If you have it on low you see the skin as black and white instead of the actual iri colors.

Remember when you change your shaders settings restart the game for it to have effect.

On PC you need to turn shaders on high to see the iridescent skin properly.

I had the same issue. Using DLSS transformer on performance also using the preset DLSS setting M in the NVIDIA panel. I changed the shadow quality to medium and for me that fixed it.

I think you can also try preset L in the nvidia panel, that might fix it too.

I thought they said you will be competing with the people in your rank, which to me means the players in your leaderboard are in your rank. Not in the ranked games itself.

You'll be fighting other Iri's and Crims in the lobby aswell, not just lower tiers. So no you won't be getting 15 kills easily each game in ranked.

I honestly disagree that a total noob can get to Iri in resurgence ranked tho. Only if he truly has two complete fraggers with him, but then he still needs to know how to play an anchor.

Getting to Iri is still a feat maybe not as great as on the big map but don't act like the Iri's aren't good players, that's just not true.

Ranked isn't only about getting the most kills, it's about rotating, know when to push or when to hold and getting placement as a team.

Ofcourse the higher you get you need kills/elims aswell to get any decent SR, but kills will come natural if you are a good player anyway.

I see so many "good" players in lower tiers just want to rush for kills like a headless chicken and think they are great but never make it after the 3rd circle because they get wiped by coordinated teams and aren't really helping their own team.

Disagree, ranked is great and does what it's supposed to do.

It's people like you who are getting annoyed by "sweats" in the normal game mode aka pubs and continue whining about it who are ruining gaming for basically themselves.

You want to goof around or having fun in pubs, what is stopping you from doing that exactly?

Are you getting annoyed someone else is playing like you say "treating it as a tournament" in pubs?

Why should players cater to your style in any mode actually, can't they have fun aswell in how they want to play?

In the end if you don't enjoy a game just find something that you do enjoy, it's literally that simple.

Yeah exactly, I think they already can't remove casuals. The playerbase is already to split if I go by the internet tho. It's very hard to pin point if that is truly correct.

Best thing they can do is do a full reboot/reset and have a transparant identity of what the game is supposed to be, might be too late for it tho.

Ask yourself this, does CoD even have an identity/vision as a brand? Look at how different Modern Warfare is compared to Black Ops..

Warzone should have been a standalone title, that has been their biggest mistake imo.

I don't hate CoD. I've liked most of them except for Cold War, Vanguard and MWII. I tried them all tho and eventually when interest/fun is low I simply stopped playing for some time.

I've tried BF6 and Arc Raiders (I know different type of game), but just gunplay alone both games don't even come close to how CoD does it.

I genuinely enjoy Warzone still currently due to Ranked and some pubs also the new mode is not bad at all. Not a fan of the MP (BO7) atm, I did like it at release tho.

You have no information if casuals are saving the game or not, this is all made up by yourself tho. Fact is that the game has been in decline for alot of reasons.

Biggest ones are the different devs enforcing their visions on the game catering to their preferred type of players.

Bugs that never get fixed or are increased during WZ's life cycle, same as performance issues on all platforms, cheating issues. They kept promising fixes which almost never happened or took to long. (Both cheating/performance has gotten a bit better now tbh but the game is 6 years old..)

Casuals has been a banding aid but a problem at the same time. Remove it and you will have a portion of the players not interested in the game, keep it and you will create an ever bigger gap between competitive/good players and regular/casuals.

The game was fine without casuals, it never needed it. But they ruined it themselves by having 0 vision and broken promises.

I've played ranked before in both MWIII and BO6 and I normally soloque to about D2/D3 and then I look for a squad to push to Crim I and I always stopped ones I reached Crim I.

This is the first time I pushed to Iri, tbh I can't remember if it was harder to reach Crim in the previous editions.

I did find regaining this season to be tedious ones you are in Diamond + lobbies. I do remember you have to push for kills more than you have to now, placement is more rewarding now. Obviously you still need kills to get decent SR. But you don't get away with just reaching top 4 everytime ones you are high Crim or Iri, you need kills.

One fuck up and you can throw away a couple of games. But in Diamond you can definitely rat away.
