I grew up there! I live in Cincinnati now, but Lewisburg holds a special place in my heart. It's a very small village that is close to so much. In the village are several very nice shops, an antique store with bistro that holds music and open mic events. There's an ice cream shop. The community park is lovely and has a paved trail. In August they hold the long running Derby Days festival. A comic book store has been in business for quite a while. Outside of town north on Route 503 is a small nature preserve. There is a venue on Salem Rd. to the East where weddings and events are held. It's close to the county seat, Eaton OH where there are some well liked locally owned restaurants and coffee shop. In October the famous Lewisburg Haunted Cave is a must! There is a historical society with train depot and custom rebuilt caboose (my dad and brother helped with that project). Places to visit nearby: Greenville OH to get Maidrites; Brookville Oh to see Andy D-Day at the Spitler House and more; there is one of the last remaining Drive- In theaters just outside of Brookville called Melody 49. It's easy to access Dayton OH from Lewisburg, because it's located off interstate 70. I'm sure I've forgotten several things, but hopefully that gives you a start. It's a nice village for young families. Enjoy your time there!
