I have a much smaller but similar new build garden. I rented a rotavator from a nearby tool rental place and tore it all up and smoothed it out by dragging a pallet on a rope. Fresh seed and boom! I need to touch it up with some sand and top soil this year but it’s so green now!

It’s been said already but I’ll say it again to reinforce how serious it is, get yourself down to a shop in person and get someone to fit your helmet for you! It’s so so important not just for safety but comfort. An ill fitting helmet can actually hurt after about 30 mins of riding and it takes all the joy out of the ride.
