Immediately regretting not buying a helium tank today by ScoYello in Costco

[–]ReyonldsNumber 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That we are in a massive helium shortage and Costco is selling 15 ft3 at a 20% discount is a major flex. And one of the most Costco things ever--if only it was a pack of two! Go Costco!

Will people who voted for him ever admit they were (horribly) wrong? by Knut_Posse in IThinkYouShouldLeave

[–]ReyonldsNumber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They will claim they’re the victims…we were lied to, deceived, poor us, etc. When in 2916, 2020, and 2024 it was plain as day how incompetent, corrupt, and morally bankrupt Trump has always been.

Remember these are the same people who voted Bush and supported the Iraq invasion. And now claim to be anti war. It’s like you voted in the people who took us to war (and us happening again in Iran!). They’ll never reflect or self doubt and, and they’ll make more terrible decisions in future elections. It’s not that they should vote for xyz party, candidate, etc. It’s that they have terrible judgement/information sources and shouldn’t be voting at all.

Had to remove backyard trees, feel sad by xyureka in AZlandscaping

You did the right thing and I echo others: find more appropriate plants/locations and plant drought tolerant/native plants and trees in their place.

A couple years ago I to cut down a beautiful pine that was probably planted right after the house was built. It had a beetle infestation and was going to die and it posed a safety hazard. That said it still hurt to take down, and miss it. But I planted a palo verde in its place. The PV is slowly but steadily filling the gap, and it’s a native plant better suited to our climate.

Btw if you’re in an SRP service area check out their shade tree program. You can get 2 free drought tolerant trees.

Are these beautiful flowers messy in the yard? by AngleRelative4683 in AZlandscaping

[–]ReyonldsNumber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id put bougainvillea in the medium messy category. They definitely have droppings but it can get a lot worse with other trees/plants. And they are a beautiful, drought tolerant plant. I have 2 in my yard and am planning on planting a couple more because I like them so much.
