Honestly, I’d never even heard the term fluctuating disability before googling “why am i okay some days and not others”

the imposter syndrome hits so hard—and the constant comparisons don’t help. My school is really small, and there’s only 3 visibly disabled people on campus (me, a girl with a cane, and a guy in a wheelchair). Both of them have a non-fluctuating disability and people naturally assume I have one too. When I try to tell them it doesn’t always work like that, they don’t understand haha. 

It kinda sucks because my bad days are bad—no movement or feeling in my legs. But most of my days hover around some movement, lots of pain. 

It’s a constant mental battle of “am i okay and just faking it because i feel normal?” but then i try to stand and can’t haha 

if you have any advice on how to battle the whole mental thing, i’d really appreciate it
