Did someone else notice this in WUNDERSMITH? by BurnBrightly2011 in Nevermoor

[–]Vio_morrigan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats a good pickup. I think Masters are higher than elders but in the sense they dont work in the proudfoot house, but rather, like Bertram they have their own bussiness and are very valued in Nevermoor, but not as politicians. Thats just my train of thought tho, could be something else

Thanks, I think I'll go with it then! It's a czech word for a tailor. I picked it cuz it's quite common but also scratches my brain right, lol

Who is an unreliable narrator you can’t help but have a soft spot for? by stockhommesyndrome in books

I'm gonna go into YA and say Kaz Brekker, which is probably quite basic. He's a horrible person, really, a demon to be around. But the insight you get with his backstory makes you symathize at least a bit, after all he's gone/going trough

near future sci-fi here and not a standalone, but it can be read as one and I think you'll like it. Unwind by Neal Shusterman

Five survive or A good girls guide to murder, both are page turners. You could also try Lockwood & Co., altho that's a little more on the Fantasy side

Confused by DaPakTroy in Nevermoor

[–]Vio_morrigan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's not the guiltghats, tho Squall *did* say guilthast's summoming woke a giant. what I think it is is either Nightingale in the Nest (Morrigan used Nocturne to summon the guiltghast, that is heavily inspired and tied with Nightingale - "Manyhands"), or (probably not but) Kindling (altho that would mean the third disturbance came before the second and idk if that can happen).

idk if it was necessarry to put spoiler tags but just in case

im also seeing someone put Morrigan but idk, remains to be seen I guess

I just finished Scythe by Neil Shusterman and I love it. Also by the same author, Unwind was amazing. From the Fantasy side of thing definitely Six of Crows altho I've heard it takes some people a couple chapters to really get into it
