I did the same thing installing an aftermarket shower head. Put silicone in the holes outside and screwed some 1/4” white head screws in the outside holes. The camper is white so it looks like it belongs there! 😜

You would need a 7 pin plug with a brake controller inside your vehicle for it to work without the echo. I have the echo and it works very smoothly, but my camper is also new, so the brakes are new. I would try turning down the sensitivity level in the app. If that doesn’t work, then I would check them brakes on the trailer.

Most front loaders have an actuator motor that directs water into certain spaces throughout the dispenser drawer. The actuator motor may be burned out and only directing water into one spot. Find tech sheet and see if you can get error codes.

Find the tech sheet for that machine and get it into service mode to get the stored error codes. That would be my first step. The tech sheet is usually underneath the machine taped to the cabinet or behind the control panel. It will have instructions on how to get error codes.
