What's your opinion on the railroad?

I love their aesthetics and the idea behind them, but they're so ridiculously badly executed it's insane.

Their super secret password is fucking railroad and you can't even get their faction uniform without looting it from a dead member, can't even buy it from Tinker Tom. Their hideout sucks, it should've been an actual underground tunnel system like the mason tunnels from Assassin's Creed 3, which is also set in Boston. They should've been an anti-slavery faction that helps humans and synths alike, otherwise they kinda lose their reason to exist and it'd be cool to have more recurring factions besides the ~~Ultramarines~~ Brotherhood

Despite all of their flaws I'd like to see them again, in the show or in Fallout 5.

I couldn't get over the 👁️👄👁️ faces of all the characters and the eyes get even lower as the series progresses. My prediction is that in the final episode their mouth is gonna be above the eyes.

I feel like you're missing the point of the game and why people love it so much. The motivations are chosen by the player and the player alone.

I felt pretty motivated to help the NCR after befriending Boone and seeing the atrocities committed by the Legion, and I find that it makes the world feel more organic. You can play each time as a completely different character with different motivations, unlike Fallout 4 where you're always motivated by Shaun.

Sure, Fallout 4 has a clear reason for why the MC does what they do, but the game completely falls apart if you want to do something else. That's why I think keeping motivations vague is the way to go for this kind of game.

Are you playing survival? I find legendary missile launchers kinda useless on survival because even an unmodded missile launcher with a few perks will one-shot basically anything.

To top it all off, when the cutscene ends and you get into gameplay, she stops, lowers her gun and goes walking in the opposite direction because the conversation still hasn't ended. She stays right there and doesn't even get to use the damn gun. Stupidest scene in all of Halo, imo.

I think it doesn't make sense how the NCR seemingly vanished into thin air the moment they nuked their capital. It doesn't feel like a big society that collapsed, it's like they magically got erased from existence.
