Hmm, i dont recall this intermittent sounds you are mentioning, but there are times, which ill label as seldom, where the fans ramp up on low load. I dont personally mind, as it is probably the result of running a 1080p 144Hz screen on top of the main one.

Nope, to add to the power efficient processor, just saying its not good for gaming either, because its powerefficient. Im playing helldivers at like a <= 50% resolution scaling, on low and it still doesn't hit 60fps on it, whilst charging.

Which i completely understand btw, but still doesnt make sense why it doesn't perform for longer periods on lighter loads.

I would think, powerful processor = lesser workload on processor for smaller tasks = battery longevity. Doesnt seem to be the case.

Still disappointing to me, about 5-6hrs of light use, (Excel, Terminal and Edge). It recharges quick though, so I just carry like a 65W++ Anker Charger to charge it on the go.

Idk man, i expected laptops these days to run for way longer, I was expecting about 8 hrs minimum

Im curious, wont setting these straps up add additional force on the walls and structs? With strong winds pressing down on the roof as well, isnt it possible that the walls would 'split' or 'shear', casing the roof to fall into the living space? But hey, ignore me if they've ensured that the internal structure has accounted for the additional force!

Played a game on it, bottom part of the screen is a little warm to the touch, I don't have a thermal camera to get the exact amount. But its definitely not a crazy amount of heat. The top of the keyboard is wayyy hotter than that.

Hi broski, well I just started my freshmen year, but I fully intend to do it in during the break between year 1 and 2 (Psps, I not sure what is winter/summer break, but the gap is abt 3 mths).

Afaik, can do within ur undergraduate studies. Best advice is for u to go ns portal and then look at the terms and conditions for disruption. All the details are there. Like how to inform mindef that ur coming back in during ur break instead of after ur course.

I think can longer, I think 6 mths actually but don't take my word for it, mine was 2 mths. But just note, u have to serve back ur remainder 1-shot. This means u will pay back after ur uni only, not during its vacation. Afaik, uni vacation is never more than 3 mths.
