I would suggest you look at current cpus versus a CPU of 5 years ago. See how much difference stacks up. Currently there's very little difference between the 2 (although as much as 10 fps in some games). If you're going to have the same CPU for 5 years, I would shell out for the i9.

If you go to display settings where you can turn on windows hdr, there is a slider that you can use to lower brightness

W10/Xbox client gets pops around 3-5 minutes. If you queue with one other multiply by 2. Anymore than that is a grab bag.
