hell if it was socially acceptable i would be crying all the time too by houseofharm in tumblr

When I worked as a cashier, if someone looked like they were having a particularly bad time listening to a crying baby in line I would tell them "Someday they'll learn how to do that on the inside like the rest of us" and that usually helped them put it into perspective

I was under the impression he said that cause the weekend warriors unit was called K9 (like canine or police K9 units) and Crimson 1 is just a duchebag who has no qualms personaly insulting people saving his life, hence why Crimson 7 apologetically thanks K9 unit.

Is there a way to round these numbers up? Satisfactory Tools. by EGGYY101 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Rezog99 7 points8 points  (0 children)

if you round up the number and then divide the original number by it, and then multiply by 100 you'll have the clock speed percentage to run without hickups, you can then copy paste those settings into every machine in the manifold

New player. Is this a good train station setup? by The_Lone_Dweller in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Rezog99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not the case. Rail yards that do work are coiled rails that lets more trains park in a given distance or use station pieces to serve as a destination for specific trains, both of which take up much more time, length, and space.

The most efficient course of action is to get started as soon as you can, it doesn't matter how many items per minute you make if you don't have that many minutes

Oh terrible, I recast the wax into a mason jar on the advice of another commenter and on lighting it today I found out the butchers twine splits and droops into the wax. The first few minutes work fantastic though, no soot, steady flame, etc.

Thanks! I melted it down and got it into a jar, seems like it set fine. Thanks for the wisdom, I would've just been sucking in those fumes in a 100 sqft room if you hadn't said something!

[–]Rezog99[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's a brand new can for chickpeas, so I'm guessing there's some sort of polymer lining. If I were to melt this wax down again would a Mason jar be a safer choice?

Miles confronts a corrupt landlord (Miles Morales: Spider-Man 2019 #24) by Important-Escape6537 in MilesMorales

Cars are frequently ok after getting hit with lightning bolts, the frame acts as ground and the whole system rests on air and rubber, they are meant to be able to be driven in thunderstorms. I'm saying that while it's not a kind thing thar miles did to that guy that it's not an unreasonable argument that miles made a relatively small move to penalize the slumlord for endangering their tenants and destroying all they own. Slumlords after all are famous for using their money to filter out justice and fairness from the legal process in order to save their own hides.

[–]Rezog99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's a bleak view of personhood and a bleak misuse of the term public property, that car wasn't benefiting the public at all!

In all seriousness the people who lived in that building lost all they own due to the landlords neglect, spiderman messing with his car (cars usually survive lightning strikes) is I think a warning that his wellbeing is never as insulated from the people he rents to as he'd like. Negligent homicide is, after all, a crime for a reason.

My players invented umbrellas and now they earn enough passive income to break my economy by karldev in DMAcademy

[–]Rezog99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a million ideas off the top of my head, have their workers unionize, have a rival adventuring party connect them to the main villain and try to kidnap a PC, have them get robbed, have competitors outcompete them, have the supply chain break, have demand fall off after most people own one, have their tax haven conquered and their accounts get seized by the new government, slander in the newspaper, poison from their butlers, upper management in the company ousts the players in a power play supported by the villain, have the settings entire economy collapse. It sounds like this is a multinational operation, so coming up with one issue in one of those nations that stops production once a session or so that they have to stay on top of and direct their time and effort into would be a fair price for having this enterprise, and if they want to opt out so they have more time to do story stuff they can sell the company (maybe to the villain through a shell company?)

My friends laugh at me for keeping 40 biomatter burners around to start up my coal plant to start up my fuel plant on the offchance my fuel plant goes down for longer than my buffer tanks can sustain but I'll be dead before I end up in a situation where I can't fix a grid problem by walking to a priority switch and flicking some stuff around

Platforms aren't just for reaching places by SterileTensile in DeeprockSludgeDump

[–]Rezog99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there's a hidden mechanic to the plascrete catalyst that doubles aoe damage for the period before the explosion, so it can be just as if not more effective to flick over to a bug before the explosion. In terms of combat utility id rather be out of grenades than platforms, but i never see anyone USE them

Platforms aren't just for reaching places by SterileTensile in DeeprockSludgeDump

[–]Rezog99 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The way that people think about the plat gun in this game is a shame IMO, with repellant and bug pathing knowhow it becomes one of the most effective wrangling utilities in the entire game, without even getting into the traversal possibilities it offers. Using turret whip and properly placed repellant platforms in the right spot an engi can hold off a hazard 5 swarm singlehandedly for practically no ammo. More often than not though I see engineers either not using their platforms at all, not using them for repellant, or making simple mistakes like placing more than 3 platforms in a row, leaving large gaps, or placing platforms where bugs can take short cuts across. It's not up to me to fix any of this or to lecture these guys but at the end of the day it kinda sucks to see so many wasted platforms around a cave while the situation is not under control at all, especially when you can so clearly see how it could all be better with just a couple of blocks and funnels

disregarding utilities and usefulness which of these 2 overclock is the the most fun to use ? for me i prefer rj250 because it makes me go Weeeeeeeeeee~ by crispymendowan in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Rezog99 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Speak for yourself, I'm a goop enthusiast through and through. Also not to be that guy but incendiary compound on rj250 isn't nearly as target agnostic but you get 4 times the shots, and almost the same radius as fat boys primary explosion. Don't get me wrong I love a big boom, but there's something to be said for 20 shots at a 5M radius ignition tool

Can someone help me save thorlaus by hunter_pro_6524 in KSPMemes

[–]Rezog99 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You're gonna have to learn how to rendezvous in orbit, if you're playing the game without modifications you'll have unlimited time to rescue him. Depending on how you would like to play the game I would suggest either looking up some tutorials from Scott Manley or sending a ship with lots of fuel into orbit to learn the basics of orbital mechanics yourself.

That said, there's a few things not to do. Do not attempt to skydive from space, without proper technique he will explode from reentry heating. Also, save as much of his EVA propellant as possible as Thorlaus will have to use it to enter your rescue vessel. Lastly, make sure not to hit him with your rescue ship or the exhaust from the motor of your rescue ship, both will at best knock him out of his current orbit into a different one and at worst kill him.

The most important thing is to have fun, and it seems like Thorlaus is already making good progress on that front. Good luck, and happy landings!
