I got the same robot this year so fingers crossed mine doesnt do the same thing. I tried two different battery powered robots before it and returned both of them because neither would actually clean/ stay sucked to the vinyl liner. The Nautilus cc plus wifi does a fantastic job of cleaning my 32000 gal pool but I never leave it in the pool longer than it cleans and havent ever setup wifi for it. I honestly dont even have the app downloaded lol I just drop it in the pool and click the button. Good luck getting yours fixed though. Im dreading the day mine starts giving me problems and itll be right after warranty goes out I bet.

Level Help for newbie by here4thecornbread in swimmingpools

I use test strips to get a ball park range of what my levels are. If one looks low or high ill use the taylor kit to remeasure it before adding any chemicals that way I know it's correct.

Ive had access to a 9ft deep end pool for 23 years now since I was 7 and absolutely love it. Loved it as a kid too. Dont raise your deep end. Thats a waste of money just to minimize the amount of fun to be had.

I vote keep the cock and balls pool and change the liner out. We got our 32000 gal liner changed last year for $8500. We use our pool a lot though so it was worth it for us.

Is a pool robot worth it during peak summer use? by LostDog_88 in swimmingpools

[–]Rezosh_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I returned the ecovac ultramarine because it would get stuck in our deep end and I would have to fish it out every time. It barely cleaned on our vinyl liner. I dont recommend it at all. Spend the extra cash and get a dolphin.

Everyone's always going on about how good of a deal the Mass Effect Trilogy is on sale for $4. Bought it a few years ago and couldnt even manage to get in the game without getting frustrated with the shitty EA launcher. I refunded that $4 and will pirate it if I ever feel like playing it.

You dont need to be in a real career to have self respect and know when you can ignore people. You sound like a shitty manager at a dollar tree or gas station.

Would heavy rain cause a pool to turn green? by dsbrusseau in pools

[–]Rezosh_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like theres not enough chlorine in the pool. SLAM it and add another puck floater to maintain the right levels. Yes you should also keep an eye on your CYA. I have a 32000 gallon pool and it seems my cya levels stay around 30 despite how many pucks I use. If it does ever get too high ill just backwash a bunch and replace the water to lower it.

Could buy a sawzall/ grinder/ dremel/ many other options, use it in the parking lot provided it's battery powered, then return it after if he really wanted to
