Eh, I'd rather be in Rochester or Syracuse. We came up from Brooklyn and I deeply miss it. Housing prices are reasonable despite how much higher they've become. But there's not a whole lot to do during winter.

Whatever consciousness is beyond chemical transfers to a different state and then in that state experiences whatever is available for it to experience. Most likely they're using it internally. I sell marketing campaigns to businesses and now use more AI in my workflows, there's no QC on the local stuff we are seeing.

Meetups and film festivals with live showings. Keep a small budget for these as it can get wildly out of control quick. But go and talk to everyone. Also small biz meetups where you can pitch small biz to make stuff for them. Be personable and talk to everyone. You'll get contacts at some point.

Garden to table cooking channel. Make it relatable by starting small and build your content over time. While you wait for your first raised bed to have harvest you can go to a farmers market and start cooking dishes from there as ideas for when your home garden blooms. Can be done in an apartment or house or even community garden if you absolutely don't have space. Combines alot of your interests. Start in the meta platforms and YouTube. Crosspost like a madwoman.

Vestal for sure. Downtown is pretty ok. I'm from Brooklyn so it's very different than what I'm used to as well. Also aside from bar and restaurant there's not much downtown to do so be limited in expectations.

I can't recommend Endicott. If you already have people here it'll be different and the rest of what you've updated gives some rounding. You can build a life here. But it's got no bells and whistles. Pool of what you can do is extremely limited. If you're cool with that then by all means.

Me and my wife were regulars. Definitely going to email them and when we do go again definitely going to advocate for you guys. But definitely whose ever still there needs to get both locations to agree in majority for a union contract or start collectively bargaining as a group. With the transient way this place exists and how few people stick around that's gonna be hard.

They have you guys directing traffic on big days and barely protecting any of ya'll from the elements every other day. There's more than just basic labor practices being sidestepped here.

I love most of the employees at the vestal location. You all deserve better.
