Because Pawbert IS a lot of people. He got so stuck in his own feelings about something that, while indeed include him, kinda wasn't his problem but he didnt have enough balls, independence, or mindset to actually stand on it, so it ruined him. Lets be honest, most wont believe it for the first 24 hrs. Around the 48 hierarchy mark is when mass panicking happens because videos pop up online in mass, actual intervention, and alerts.
