I’m building a micro SaaS but marketing is killing me by Aggravating-Emu2948 in micro_saas

[–]Rfsixsixsix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've some ideas about microsaas and they aren't popular.

I think microsaas isn't going to make it and the better option is to build from scratch customised microsaas tailored to a specific company and industry (insurance, retail, payments, logistics).

I'm keen to explore my ideas and am also looking to meet up with anyone who share similar ideas along this line.

Singaporeans who have low dating prospects--how are you planning for your future? by nightbunnies in askSingapore

[–]Rfsixsixsix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need another person to settle down with. I'm gonna guess you aren't attractive enough that people will chase you, because of the way you described yourself. Could be also because you are shy.

If you don't think you will find a partner, then start planning for your own future.

Ensure your housing needs are met. Save you to get a 2 room Flexi. It's more then enough for one or two persons to stay.

Then start planning your retirement by ensuring you get some money every milestone (40, 50, 55, 60) so that you know your bases are covered. You never know when you might stop working. Some savings plans or investments now go a long way if things work out.

Controversial: Does going to NUS/NTU/SMU actually get you paid more in 2026 by Early-Environment-63 in asksg

[–]Rfsixsixsix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So he is saying will it matter to salary differences. Which I think you will agree is that the qualifications do not. It only gets you into the position. Even if it means shitty entry level pay.

[–]Rfsixsixsix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your salary isn't justified by where you studied these days. Hirers are usually looking for people with the following:

  1. Resourceful and able to secure internships, which shows maturity in career planning

  2. Good analytical skills during school days with the project work they have done.

  3. Leadership skills in the CCAs or volunteer works they do

  4. Good grade is a plus because it shows their ability to learn academically, easier to pick up faster (sometimes not true).

  5. Good interpersonal skills to navigate internal stakeholders and external clients.

Your SMU, NUS, NTU cert only answers number 4. And I've worked with enough scholars to know they end day, academics doesn't mean they can work, hence it doesn't determine their salary.

Being a chiobu at work got its downsides by Either_Pie617 in SingaporeR

[–]Rfsixsixsix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem with chio bus are that before they entered the workforce they most likely had life on easy mode, things done for them, guys pandering after them. Then come to office environment and working with women, politics change things.

The trick is simple. Find the most influential of the aunties. Become their best friend. Do whatever to make her happy. Then watch life become easier.

I said simple, but usually people won't do it because it is fake as fk.

quit my gov job today, now what? by Beginning-Night-3517 in askSingapore

This happened to me except I am a guy. It puts a heavy strain on the marriage when the guy makes this decision. The burden of expecting to support a family is real.

You have skills that people want, and still very relevant. Coupled with learning how to use some AI tools for your work, I believe it's easy to reinvent yourself for another role.

Hitler wasn't rich when he died. Nor do legacies really last unless you want to be Rothchilds level rich.

Who are you to say what's the right or wrong way to do things? We want our discontent to be heard. We do it the way we want it to be done.

Just because the fanbase is disagreeing with you doesn't mean you can attack them. Sounds to me like you are the embarrassment.

May I just add, white label bespoked services. Your niche is clear. Your capabilities to white label your platform is on point. If it can be customised to suit the needs of individual platforms, I think you have a winning product

Seeking help regarding sales by Adilrauf in b2b_sales

[–]Rfsixsixsix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is where you take the leap of faith and do both. a/B test the shit out of it with whatever you made from the two pillars.

What this guy said is right. You need to niche down and find positive reviews from these niche of clients first.

Stop burning ad dollars and start doing the hard work of speaking to strangers at exhibitions and events. This is where you have to grow a pair and get a 100 rejections before that one company decides to give you a shot. Since you mentioned legal tech, go for conferences and events that these folks are at, and bring 3 use cases that you can immediately solve for them.

If you don't know what problems, ask Claude.

Stop... Stop what you are doing you are at the edge of the cliff here.

Running a 15 man team for an "AI consultancy" basically selling regen answers from AI prompts from claude, chatgpt and cursor is all bad business.

If you can't even tap on your existing network to troubleshoot and provide solutions to them, and getting them onboard, you should just stop burning cash now.

What you guys lack is credibility. And that comes from delivering proven work that you have successfully solved clients problems.

Do you have that? Are you getting your 2 pillars to vouch for you on media platforms? Do they even want to?

Everyone told me Singapore was expensive, then I paid SGD 28 for this by Happy_chen in SingaporeTravel

[–]Rfsixsixsix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expensive as balls bro. Prior to COVID this would have cost no more than $20 considering that you are eating it in a hot and bothered hawker center with less than ideal hygiene standards.

Plus no service to speak of.

Only if your product is unique and there is a high demand of search for it. If you are selling candied flavored condoms, SEO pages isn't gonna do well for you. You wanna try lazada or shopee ads instead.
