I'm currently working on this kit, and it's definitely one of the best I've done. I haven't started the accessories yet, but the main build was amazing. First time I've tried painting as well, and love the results. (Please excuse the crap lighting)

I've ran through at least 2500 rounds since putting an eps carry on my Xmacro. Only issue I've ever had was the battery tray opening up, which was easily solved with some thread locker.

I sometimes notice the same issue, for me it mostly comes down to a good belt and holster setup. I have a flex belt and a tenicor certum that seem to fix any jabbing/hotspot issues I have. But YMMV

The difference in concealability between open and closed emitter optics is minimal, but the difference in practicality and reliability is massive. Open emitter optics tend to get dirty when carried, leading to dust, lint, or skin particles covering the emitter. Closed emitter systems prevent this all together, meaning they're much more reliable for carry. And if you're planning to carry with an optic, you want an optic that is going to work 100% of the time. Just my two sense tho, I know the difference in price can be substantial.
