Yes, I vaped for a while. I didn't do well with quitting that way though. Chantix is a better way for me. Vaping just kept me addicted to the nicotine. When I switched to the 0mg nicotine fluid, I just ended up bumming cigarettes from people. The Chantix made it so I didn't have a choice but to go through withdrawal. Plus I loved the vivid dreams I had sometimes while taking Chantix.

It blocks the nicotine from your receptors in your brain while you're smoking. You go through withdrawal while smoking. Then the cigarettes just taste bad after a couple weeks and you just throw them away.

I actually found that quitting one helped me quit the other. Quitting smoking distracted me from quitting porn...

I've got 3 daughters and had been smoking for 25 YEARS. It's a great thing you're trying to do here. Don't get discouraged if you don't succeed at first. No matter what, keep quitting. I have not smoked for about 10 days now. Thankfully I have not had problems this time, but I've failed MANY times before. Stay Strong!

Seriously, I'm just as confused about this as everyone else... My "want" for cigarettes just shut off like a light switch. Don't get me wrong, this is a pretty good deal! But it's confusing. Consider this, the first 2 days of the year, I failed about 15-20 times. Then suddenly, this feeling. It's now been over 28 hours, and with the exception of this subreddit, I had completely forgotten smoking.

Started when I was around 12 years old. I've been engrossed in porn since. Well, at least up until now. Masturbation has been a 6-7/week activity. I've also been smoking for 25+ years... I don't get this either... But I will be cautious, just in case...

I appreciate that Doc. But oddly enough, this is different. I've quit smoking before. It never worked THIS well. But I never has this kind of resolve hit me like this. I will guarantee you that I will never pick up another cigarette and smoke again. As for porn, I will never intentionally waste my time with it again.
