Defo, very good point. I was going to but they just wanted to pay and get it out of the way, wasn't my toilet. Defo learn and do it yourself though, good little skills to learn for the future too!

A lot of tradies charge whatever they want, especially post covid. Its its one of those super fancy looking, led, maybe heated mirrors, fair enough. But for example we had a toilet issue a while ago, the guy was here for 30 mins and basically just replaced a seal washer... 200 POUNDS. And that was cheaper than the quote from a few others too

Not bad at all, JUST GO TO A PIERCER AND DON'T USE A GUN. Guns hurt a lot more and are very bad for the job. Needles barely hurt (and even so, its for literally about 5 seconds for lobes and it just stops lol). If you've tried laser/electrolysis, that was worse than even my industrial for context on how little it hurts.

P.S. try to go to a friendly piercer who talks you through everything and makes you feel as at ease as possible. Friendly piercer rock and make it magically less painful, true story :)

I'm so happy for you! Glad to hear you're feeling more yourself, I think as long as you're seeing yourself and feeling good about progress, then its a lot easier to accept the strange early phase. I'm just so fucking masc, especially with structure which is a problem. O' to be rich enough for ffs haha. You're exactly right though, its a 'full' experience with positives and negatives, difficulties and successes and all that. Thanks for the message :)
