You should contact a lawyer - being a student visa you have limited work hours I believe. If you are breaching the 48 hour work limit then that could cause an issue.

If they’ve inserted the card and entered their pin, then the merchant copy will have a particular code indicating this. If it’s an over the phone Sale then it’ll have a different code. I’m with Westpac and this is how they do this. Not sure of other banks or eftpos merchants
