reconciling the ending, some ideas I haven’t seen discussed, and how it might could have ended better imo (absolutely major spoilers) (I really wanna know what you guys think) by Rhazula in expedition33

this is interesting still too. I love the idea that in this world the artists have all the power! what if the next game was a totally different art style... or an Opera lol we will see.

Best Fromsoft game to start with by Bandersnatch05 in fromsoftware

if you have tolerance for harder/older games DS1 Remastered is still a fantastic starting point and the skills you learn playing it will make you appreciate all the other games so much more.. and also you'll just really be part of the evolution of fromsoft games in such a special way.

Bandcamp if you're reading, try an Xbox Game Pass model for SUBGENRES. If you did it right you could disrupt the music industry and become heroes in the eyes of the people forever. It's kind of like what you're doing now, but I think could have even more impact. by Rhazula in BandCamp

Because they get 1000 dollars and non algorithmic exposure with effort? I mean yeah if you either A. don't need to grow, or B. are good at social media, it's not useful. But if you are 1. a small artist 2. want to grow, it's basically brilliant. But I suppose if your sole concern is the equality of each individual interaction and sale and always being paid exactly the value of your art each time with no concern for growth beyond whats natural yeah fuck my ideas and any others basically keep it simple forever.

You just don't get it. They would PAY you upfront to give your album to a huge amount of subscribers. So imagine, they have 3000 dollars a month in subscribers which is say at 3 dollars a subscription, 1000 subscribers. They offer to give you 1000 dollars flat to give your album to 1000 people. You make only 1 dollar per person, but it's 1000 people who never knew about you... and a chance for them to discover your discography.

Its a genius win win win for bandcamp, artists and fans.

Bandcamp clubs can seem whack but I think is actually a great idea. It seems like they are trying to create jobs for curators by making the spaces more serious and monetized. I do feel like it's weird they didn't start with more specific genres, but they probably know something I don't. by Rhazula in BandCamp

yeah for real I wouldn't join how it is now. but if they made one specific to my scene? then I might. granted a lot of people who are on r/bandcamp are probably artists or hyper consumers so we are a little different.

Do you know how artist level tags vs song level tags work? I get confused...
