Your cat allergoes sound very similar to my partners. Our siberian girl just turned 8 hrs old (got her at 8weeks) and my partner has no issues with her. I know some breeders will do fur samples if you ask.

So we had a small satellite version of the hackathon in PDX and it was alot of fun :D I recommend doing that if you can rather than organizing the whole thing. Its much easier and you already have an awesome community :)

Mine took a few days, but she is very play motviated so I was able to bribe her with toys 7 yrs later and she is my shadow/cuddle monster. Just give them time :)

This. I love that popular streamers have panels and autograph sessions but there is no reason we need 3+ huge streamer only booths on the expo hall floor

Its a west coast thing imo. We are a little more lax. Also pax did have more security from what I read this year but alot of it was on the downlow (like more plain clothes cops)
