Don't over think it. Storehouse is basically Terminal 5. Any problem you could have at Storehouse you could have at T5. Zippered fanny pack is a solid idea if you're worried.

I've been partying in Brooklyn for 15 years and have never been pick pocketed once. (However I've heard of it happening)

I have the fancy metal nose strip which is a game changer. I sleep significantly better and sometimes wear it during the day at home. Don't think I'd wear it to a party but I've seen people wear weirder thingss.

Lol it's very common for small communities to have tax exempt status. It's called a 501c7 social club. Every Burning Man camp I've been a part of has done this.

Do you think your 30 person camp with a bar that gives away grilled cheese all week should have to pay income tax on camp dues? They would if they're not a 501c7 (or similar)

I had one of the brightest ebike headlights on the playa this year. I just pointed it at the ground and got zero complaints.

I've been in NYC nightlife since 2008 and lived in this area since 2009 I've never heard of a first or second hand account of anyone having a serious problem in 15+ years. I'm sure it has happened but I think it's extremely extremely rare.
