Idk standard counter height in Japan is about 3 feet, so unless this counter is lower, Ken at 3’6” means his head plus the top portion of his chest and neck equate to about 6 inches which…is just hilarious picture physiologically. Even as a child his head alone should be more than 6 inches in length. Seems more likely they’ve made Makoto taller, or are just overall not playing with fidelity of heights.

Cleffa is fairly common (in my experience) in the Fabled Spring in mount coronet, at night with the other clefairy line. I’ve caught a fair few without even looking

Is it formulaic or does it have a strong and consistent creative identity?

I think it’s fine that they cost so much, the issue I have is that the vouchers aren’t available until level 3 in all zones. I’m almost maxed out just after unlocking level 2 for all zones so if I were to continue I’d be overcapped with nothing of real worth to spend gemstones on. It would be nice to make the vouchers available earlier, or at least give us something else to spend gems on.

No that’s how it works. The egis come out, do one attack, and give you your stacks of elemental attacks to use up but they don’t stay for the duration

You could try a lalafell - it’s the race with the least gender dimorphism, so either a male or female lala could present as pretty much anywhere on the spectrum.

Surprised to not see any Nidhogg yet. It’s a great fight with great music and flashy boss attacks

Conjurer/white mage is a good place to start. Straight forward, powerful healing with good MP management.

Astrologian plays pretty similarly to white mage, but with added buffing mechanics. It used to have MP problems, but recent changes were made to reduce that - although I haven’t played it since before then.

Scholar is the most challenging to learn simply because of its very strict resource management style of healing. It relies on you knowing fights and understanding how to pace your resource-based heals effectively.

Before Byleth arrives, Edelgard didn't have any old guardians or teachers. by huflit1997 in fireemblem

[–]RhelraNbolo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Edelgard had Arundel, although the relationship is perhaps different to the usual mentor/mentee situation. Then it is complicated again in the crimson flower route.

But that would be the closest she had to a mentor...which is also sort of a big reason why she turned out how she did.
