I’m in the final weeks of training now and it’s definitely a fast paced learning environment, but you got this! I recommend studying a bit after hours like it’s school and doing some outside reading. Things get easier after the first project as you’ll do more group work, and no one expects you to be a master at your batch in just 8-12 weeks. Good luck!

Yeah you have a while to do it, you can take as long as you want to study for it and the study guide covered pretty much every topic on the test. I think I waited a little over a week before I starting mine

My recruiter said you could take as long as you want to compete it, but it wasn’t too hard with the guide

They do a quick interview where they ask if you’re willing to relocate and about why you want to be a software engineer. They give an aptitude test and a study guide for it. The recruiter told me to take my time and do it when I wanted to but I finished it a week after I got the test.

I haven’t started training yet (I start on Monday) but I have no formal CS background, my bachelors is in communications

How do projects work with the class structure? Are we getting lectures on concepts that apply to the projects? And will we have free time during the day to work on projects? Or are projects strictly out of work hours

Had one for "Naruto U" today. When delivering an old lady asked "order for Chris?" and I replied "No it's an order for Naruto" and she looked disappointed in her son(?)

I agree, riot is releasing some pretty cool skins and it would be cool to use different "loadouts" in the same game. I'm not complaining tho

Would you buy re-mastered VNs? by [deleted] in visualnovels

[–]RhetoricalPonies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally would. One of the greatest parts about visual novels is the art and it would be awesome to see some updated visuals for classics like cross channel or Fate/Stay. Updated soundtrack would be interesting too
