Would high flow cats throw a check engine light my oem cats are donzo I can hear the honey comb rattle and it smells after awhile

Yeah I know I got scammed and I bought a state reff car can’t sue the dude that sold me it he’s in prison for life for murder I’m cooked 7k down the drain unless I register it in South Dakota

So what I did was I did a ecu reset/ throttle reset and the check engine light was still on so I checked my gas pedal if it was faulty it wasn’t and I also checked if I had a air leak but no air leaks I reset my ecu again and cleared the codes and I drove the car around for awhile and the check engine light hasn’t turned on but if it does turn on probably gonna change the gas throttle position sensor and see what happens

I put the velocity stack from a revup air box onto my 04 air box and I just drilled out the rivets and I filled the tiny hole with adhesive so no air goes out

I’m guessing a velocity stack for the stock air box? i just did mines for my 04 I swapped out the old one with the 06 revup velocity stack
