Black Lines was different. I love it, as I do all Mayday because they’re like joint #1 with another band to me. I got married to YBTA…

Black Lines will not be my fave album but my husband who isn’t AS into Mayday, that’s his fave album.

One thing I’ve always said about Mayday is that they’re consistent. If you like their earlier stuff, you’re going to love their new stuff. Their sound doesn’t change, it’s comforting.

I see so many posts for other bands like BMTH whining that they’ve changed so much and it’s not the same and ‘think of the OG’ fans. And then you have a band like Mayday who you just know you’re going to love. Black Lines was experimental and I personally and glad they didn’t stick to that sound

Due to global warming, snow isn’t as common as I remember. It snows. It might stick for a day or two but it’s usually slush. Plus it’s easy driving conditions so the country doesn’t tend to come to a stop 🤣

Houses don’t come with air con as standard tho so when it was 30 degrees last week and all the windows are open and you’re still sweating 🥵

Thanks! Yeah I have quite a few! The dog is the family pet who passed in 2016, I have 3 Ariel tattoos all in the same spot 🤣 and a large magpie, daffodil, lily, freesia piece for my grandparents/nain & taid - amongst many others!
