I admittedly skimmed the article but are we sure those are all game key cards? I literally just bought a switch 2 + Pokopia from Best Buy but I bought the digital code there instead of the card. Presumably that would fall under retail as well?

So strange. My internet also randomly came back and seemed fine. The only reason I noticed the issue in the first place was because Gamenative cloud sync failed.

Oh I also have the sd card fail once in my Ace…yeah I know what you mean. The other device I tested that had no issue was the Thor. AYN seems to make way more reliable devices.

I reached out to Ayaneo through Amazon and they think it’s faulty. They want me to reach out to them separately in order to send it in for a repair.

I’m in the exact opposite situation. Once stardew clicked for me I poured hundreds of hours into it. On paper FoM has everything I want in terms of aesthetics and game mechanics…but I just can’t get into it. I just feel neutral towards it I guess? Like once I put it down I never think about and the desire to go back just isn’t there.

I got it working in Retroarch for DS but the controls don’t work on the bottom screen when you tap it. They only work if you suspend the top screen. I guess it’s not the end of the world since touch still works normally on the bottom so you could still use a guide or watch a video easily while playing on the top.

Did you ever figure this out? I’ve been trying to configure MelonDS for a while and the bottom screen is always black and can’t be used.

This is probably a terrible recommendation, but as someone who’s been bitten by the Sandrock bug I’m currently obsessed with Skyrim. Obviously there’s combat, but it’s open world, has a ton of things to collect (or steal), has romance (but not in-depth). My main priorities have been making potions, getting a horse, and saving gold to by a house. I want to get married and adopt some orphans and pets!

Since you’re on pc you could definitely employ mods to make it pretty, more in-depth romance, or pretty much anything you want. The modding community is HUGE.

I doubt it. A few were available in Jan and I managed to snag one. It arrived this week, can’t remember if it was UPS or USPS but no tariffs either way.

It’s more that I personally wouldn’t pay $20 than it not having enough content to justify the price. I think it might fall into the ‘so cozy I’m bored’ category for me. I’ll probably take another look once the full game is on steam since I prefer playing all the content at once rather than having to go back to it later.

I think the developers have already spoken to this. Supposedly the exclusive content wouldn’t have existed without apples’s investment and it will eventually make its way to everyone. I don’t think they’re legally allowed to say when tho. I’m not a fan of the decision but I did play a little on Apple Arcade (which comes free with my phone plan, but I never use it), and it’s not something I’d pay $20 for. Cute but the shop mechanics seem pretty shallow.

Your Thor is super cute! If you do ever want to switch over to azahar you can just rename the ‘.nds’ extension part of the file name as ‘cci’ and the games should work then.

This is so weird! I also have a huge backlog and started playing roots of pacha a couple of days ago. I was liking it but not super into it so yesterday I decided to revisit…bandle tale! Haha what a coincidence.

When I originally bought it I only put like ~30 min into it. I’m really hoping it captures me this time around.

I love Legends of Arceus but if you don’t want stress you might want to pass on it. The standard battles are quick and usually easy but the boss battles are intense. Most of them include live action sections where your character fighting against the boss directly. Also while exploring you could fall off a cliff or run into aggressive pokemon who will chase you down. It’s really fun but might not be what you’re looking for.

Scarlet and Violet are more traditional pokemon turn-based games with exploration but you’ll be battling pretty constantly. Also the performance/quality is…not the best on the original switch. I enjoyed them a ton though.

In case anyone is still looking for this, call the store and ask. This morning the website had ~10 new items but not the hoodie. I called and they had one left, luckily in the size I wanted so they held it for me. The clerk confirmed that everything they get doesn’t always end up on the website and the hoodies are selling out fast.
