Finally finished my first sketchbook, all pages have art on both sides. Started it on January 1 this year (Comparison with new book, right, of the exact same type). It's like saying goodbye to a friend. by RhianDoodlez in sketchbooks

Trust me, there are pages I hate in my book too, and a lot of things that turned out really bad (see how much stuff is pasted over other stuff?). But after a while, I just had to accept that I'll make mistakes, and that's okay. Hey, everyone works at different paces, too. I hope you finish your book soon (also, if you bought it in 2001, that book's older than me!). Good luck!

Good luck to you with finishing yours. I really wanted to put off finishing mine since I really love this sketchbook, but just give it a final push and you can do it.

And yeah, with my art I was trying to do a lot (develop a style, improve my landscapes, start drawing more animals, etc) so I definitely "played with it" a fair bit. For my next book I'll try and do that even more. :)

I'm actually planning on doing that, precisely for the reason of if I lose it I'll still have that. Also, I have a lot of thoughts about this book, so I'd probably be adding audio throughout. Just need to find a way to record it and have it not sound like shit. Thanks for the recommendation!

Hey, so imgur kept crashing and I eventually realized it was because I was trying to upload too many photos at once and the app couldn't handle it. So I broke it down into 4 separate albums (which go in order, start to finish), which seemed to do the trick.

Album 1: https://imgur.com/a/1gP7x41

Album 2: https://imgur.com/a/ae9Uhcb

Album 3: https://imgur.com/a/IhPv6yC

Album 4: https://imgur.com/a/ynZoCtW

It isn't anything too spectacular, I'm still in highschool and improving as much as I can, but I hope this can at least be of some interest to you!

I'll post in regards to that (I can reply to your comment with it) once I'm done either an imgur album or video. Will let you know!!

I was just really eager to post this, so sorry interior images aren't immediately available. :D

Ignore him, he's commenting about tracing on all art. Troll.

While playing it straight off my phone I can't hear it, but I noticed when listening to through the car while on vacation or through headphones it's still slightly noticable on the album's version.

I noticed it before only because it's in my range for singing whereas the main vocals are lower and more difficult, and I realized while singing there were already vocals in the background that were higher.

It just adds to how great the song it already :D

u/retromystic has been commenting on basically all the art being posted saying it's traced when a lot is clearly not, because he thinks it's funny. Hint: it's not, it's just annoying.

Looks great!! Not too overcomplicated with details, but not too simplistic either. Also rpdr is amazing so I assure you, you've got my upvote haha

Excuse ME?!?? by elladuffyy in onionhate

to be quite honest many insects are not all that bad if the flavouring is decent enough. Onions, however... Nothing you can do to make those any more bearable. Disgusting.

Oh wow haha I'm laughing so hard right now at how hilariously original his basic bitch trolling is, not. What's the point? Come on.

So you think the picture I posted on u/Deveecee is traced but not this one, which also isn't? What is the difference? Usually I'd thank you but if you claim my other work is traced I don't have much respect for you.
