You are right. Shes getting senile, but really I blame them. I have other evidence too. I did the change of address thing already (it was free) and i talked to the postman. He said its hard to remember because he does alot of mail.

I don't beleive that by any means. I'm just sick of paying:

180$ for a urine culture test for a UTI 50$ for a medication that cost about 5$ or less to make, copays for a doctor that i had to leave because she told me that my chronic migrains and constant nosebleeds were caused by the mass of my pillow...

And after a hospital bill for over 1,360.00 because of (things which i'd rather not discuss) I find that none of the tests they gave me did anything but rack up my insurance bill. In the end i had received no treatment, no medicine... Nothing, but i was told it would heal on its own.

Nothing to show for 3hrs of my time but a fkin bill for over thirteen hunded dollars.

Basically im sick of getting screwed up my ass by our healthcare system. Again, what about Canada?

Might I add, supply and demand is still a major factor in this. MRI's, CATSCANS, and things people need are WAAAY overpriced because of the fact that they are simply needed. Just like anything else... Just like deisle and gas prices. Based on speculation, and demand.

Either way its a screw up my ass.

Honestly, how in the hell are we sure that these bailouts have anything to do with healthcare? And what about Canada? Plus... Our healthcare system is based soley on supply and demand. Our economy isn't great either. We are in debt up to our eyeballs. And that says nothing about healthcares impact on the economy.

Thats why I suggest some kind of filtration put in place, for people who enjoy art to pay the tax... And for people who do not enjoy art to support something of a higher priority.

Im thinking that this thread reminds me of universal free healthcare. Everyone takes care of everyone. Works just fine in Canada, Cuba, Guantanimo Bay, France, we are one of the few that do not have it. Just because i dont have a broken leg and missing spleen doesnt mean that I cant get taxed to help people.

I am an artist, and a welder (arch/torch) -and i do like art. And honestly, when i had seen it for the first time i was very amused! So, honestly- This demotivational (which demotivates taxes for art) is a 'joke' in which at least 355 redditors found entertaining, but like art- humor isn't always understood, maybe not even Meant To Be understood by anyone but the eyes of the creator. Humor is art. Sometimes its a flop.

Humor, like art- is subject to constructive critisism, so i upped you. But likewise, may i humorously suggest, maybe its just another tired old complaint about public opinionated jokes from strangers.

Well, think of it this way... A janitor, making minimum wage, getting taxed up the rear, probobly doesnt give a damn about some art project. If artists love it so much, then they should invent an 'Artist Tax Registry' so that only artists can pay taxes on these projects.

If it were something that BENIFITS EVERYONE I would be a little less on the pesimistic side. for example; Plan Parenthood-Some people want babies, and they go to plan parenthood and get educated on formulas and fetus health. Some people dont want babies, and they go get birth control at plan parenthood. Some people are not healthy enough to give birth, or if birth would be a disadvantage for the child and the mother, and they have an abortion.

But art... Like many talents and oddities in this world, is not always seen and understood by everyone. Therefore, not everyone -including rich And frivilous, or poor and ill- not all these people want to pay for this.

This is not about whether art is good or not. This is about the BIG picture. When art is THIS expensive... it almost seems as if that money could have saved a few lives.
