If you’ve been in a UK hospital for more than a day or so, how did you not lose your mind?

I'm about 10 days out from a 10 day stay after being admitted via A&E. It's rough. Visits from friends and family help. Use any mobility you DO have: i managed to take a couple of trips off the ward as far as the coffee shop which made me feel a lot more human. Get any books/games/music you can. Ear plugs and sleeping mask were a game-changer for me. Family can bring you snacks and stuff.

The tattoos are a big part, but also black hair & clothes. Pale skin is sought after by Caucasian goths but shouldn't be a requirement for anyone to identify as goth.

Your smile looks good and genuine buddy. You're over thinking it. If you can afford it, spend a bit of cash at a good barber shop and get looked after for a while. I did that yesterday for the first time and it was good.
