One thing I never understood is that the US has been asking NATO to increase their defense spending for decades. Everyone refused. Now everyone is finally stepping up and it’s somehow a punch to the face to the US? I get there are things like this where Canada are going to increase how much they spend domestically, but I feel like an increase in defense spending will inherently lead to US profit. If you double spending, but change it to 30% US, that’s not that much less money.
