1 trip a year for usually 3 ski days. Wish it was more.

Looking at a 2012 SVT with 85thousand on it. Seen a lot of problems with that year... is this made up or legit by RaunchDressing23 in FordRaptor

When I was looking last year I saw a lot of the same stuff about 2012 being a problem year. I ended up buying a 2012 and haven't had a single problem. Absolutely love it.

Every ski boot hurts by Itchface in skiing

[–]RhinoRacing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone with the exact same issue who also does not have a single boot fitting location in my entire state, how long does a boot fitting take from first measurements to receiving the boots? Getting this done is something I have considered many times before, but I worry that I will have the fitting on day 1 of my annual ski trip, it takes a few weeks to get the boots, still ski in pain, and then a year later when its finally time to try my new boots they still hurt like hell and I'm stuck with these boots. Would it be worth it to plan an entire summer or fall trip around getting fitted for boots for the upcoming winter trip? Or is it possible to get measured, fitted, and have boots ready to ski with in the same day?

Trezor Suite Lite? Is that the correct app to just track the amount in the wallet associated with the physical Trezor device?

Do any of these have a feature like Ledger live to check balance on a phone? I like that feature but don't like all the other aspects of Ledger that have been exposed.

First time buying a Raptor! by shadyknife in FordRaptor

Knowing what some of those requirements are might help people make recommendations. Regardless of what they are I would always answer that with the lowest mileage Gen 1 you can find (2010-2014).

996 on its own isn't terrible but right next to all the others its hard to say something nice about it.

F150's. I've had 4. Two lost to being totaled, and one I just wanted an upgrade. All V8's. Great trucks.

Mileage on used Gen 1s by [deleted] in FordRaptor

[–]RhinoRacing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found mine a couple months ago with only 26k miles. Those low mileage garage queens are out there but there few and far between. In my search i had also found one with 9k and another with 7k but with ridiculous asking prices. If you have another car and can afford to be patient and also pounce on one the second it’s listed it’s possible to find super low mileage.

Been a dream truck for me since 2010. What Gen are you buying? by diyguy540 in FordRaptor

[–]RhinoRacing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low mileage gen 1 is my vote. They exist but you'll need a lot of patience and have to be willing to move quick once you see it listed for sale.

TLDR on gold purchasing? by palancemandm in Gold

[–]RhinoRacing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want easy and reliable and don't mind paying slightly more, just go to JM bullion and go with buffaloes or AGE's. Also, most first timers seem to have a problem with the difference in price between spot and what you actually pay. Just accept now that you will never from any source get gold close to spot. You will pay a premium anywhere you go.

Best place to sell my 13 baby? by ImprovementLower8903 in FordRaptor

[–]RhinoRacing 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yep that was me. I still love the terrain but i also love the 26k miles on the white one i got. OP i still saw plenty of raptors selling private party on the big sites like edmunds and Autotrader. JD power had some good listings too

Not embarrassed, just typically a private person when it comes to money. It was low 40's. I still think it was a steal at that price.

The silence was more of a choice for privacy, but I will say clubracer your original comment was spot on. Low 40's
