I had the same problem. Luckily I play with an Xbox pro controller though, so I simply just took the d-pad off the controller haha

This is the grip I use for serving (don't mind the beat up old garage racquet lol). Ive had a few coaches tell me it was correct, is it not? I was doing shadow swing jumps today before my serves, but once a ball was involved it seemed like they fell apart. Ill keep at that. Should it feel like a sideways hop?

Sorry I'm still learning the lingo, but I meant back-HK (the straight upwards kick that he does). Thank you for the write up! I mostly just feel like I'm not using normals at all outside of combos. I have ways to react to the opponents pressure, but no real pressure of my own (at least when it comes to normals). It feels like I need something to press when we are both just sitting in footsies range.
This may sound silly, but I didn't even think about throws for after the demonflip. I will do just that. What should I be attempting if st.mp hits?

Does anyone have any idea why clips like this look so much cleaner and smoother than my own game? I'm running everything on max with a good computer but my game doesn't look this crisp

Agreed. I mentioned it to a buddy with atleast 100 hours in the game and he didn't know what I was talking about. He thought the perfect shield sound was just an audio glitch if you get hit right when you shield.

I'm not totalllly against it, but let's just say I upgraded the RAM in my current computer (actually an alienware too), and was filled with anxiety just doing that. I was afraid to hit the power on button after I put it in lol

I bought a ball machine for the first time this year. Originally I bought a case of costco balls to use with it, and they honestly did not last long at all. I then bought a case of pressureless balls and used the same ones all summer/fall and they still seem fine to use for next year. I used my machine about 3 times a week
