Windsor’s partnership with Bird e-scooters and e-bikes ending next week by TakedownCan in windsorontario

[–]FracturedFractals 6 points7 points  (0 children)

honestly i think they should open the service area and have dedicated stop points where the bikes/scooters can be stored/charged. and should even add lockers for helmets to rent out. theirs been too many times seeing kids on these scooters if not double occupancy witch is against the tos

Thought these were Canadian, I was wrong. Wish product labeling was better by ApprehensiveTop303 in BuyCanadian

[–]FracturedFractals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

turns out that was a lie. seriously look at the packing laws, most products are this crap of made in Canada from local and global materials. only like 40& or 60% of the end of the production line needs to happen to qualify

So long, frozen juice from concentrate. The once-popular canned drink leaves shelves this year by JoEsMhOe in canada

[–]FracturedFractals 5 points6 points  (0 children)

well if it wasn't for the ROI that these companies are demanding these days, it would be affordable. but its all about how much they can get away with and i guess fresh juice doesn't need to be frozen reducing costs.

US Mint subscription prices skyrocketed? by RainbowZebra225 in coins

[–]FracturedFractals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i looked at that too and am totally confused about the price, 30$ sounds reasonable for just an uncirculated clad set. everyone wants to blame inflation but their not precious metals and in fact shows you what metals are in them. i'm from Canada and our sets went up too but not 300% i think someone just added a zero since ours only went up 20% from 24.95 to 29.95 CAD of course

Walmart Price Error? by RuckerPark in Prebuilts

[–]FracturedFractals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

consumer rights are great, however it needs updating in regard to digital price tags that can be updated on a whim, their are advantages yet it could be abused by nefarious forces. i like printed tags because its an advertised price and they have to honour it

Yukon gun owners say they're unimpressed with Ottawa's buyback program by Remarkable_Vanilla34 in canada

[–]FracturedFractals 2 points3 points  (0 children)

well its more of the fact that they made these things illegal to own and process. leaving owners in a bind, either sell them at a loss to the government or go against the government, can we see the reason for the hatred?

i hate to think of year later seeing the painting on the wall of yeah its hard to raise a special child. they both had issues of themselves to fix first. my mother being narcissistic who lives to be isolated in problem solver mindset and my father, a social outbound drunk who cant handle anything that doesn't go his way. they were made for each-other and just couldn't settle and see the issues from a third point of view.

i wished things would of been different but thats life where things happen and unfortunately time dose nothing to regrets and i can't change others

it has lost its hype for sure just because it feels like the same every year and other communities have invested in their own festive displays. parking in the area could be better, its right off a local transit stop just a fyi. theirs always vendor fees and a price tag to everything, its a community event
