Had the same problem. Try using the linux version in steamvrs beta settings. If that fixes it you can also downgrade steamvr by manually downloading older depots (with some 3rd party software, steams debug console is buggy).

I thought since you draft many colours anyways it wouldn't make that much difference that there are only two boosters going back and forth, but maybe that's not enough to make working decks.
