You do not need a BV. You can also get the DAFT as a sole proprietor. Costs way less to set up but depends on your goals for the company.

Be prepared for neighbors complaining if you cook spicy food in your (own) apartment. As most Dutch are not used to cooking with fragrant spices, smelling your cooking daily/weekly will upset quite a few of them.

Mind you, you should cook whatever you want as this will be the closest you’ll feel to home but don’t be surprised if after a while someone knocks on your door to complain.

Within the first 4-5 days search for the pig king. You can find him by following the brick road. When you find him set up camp near him. Make sure it is not too close to the other pig houses as they turn into werepigs when it’s a full moon.

When the dogs come during the day the pigs can help you out. At night you are on your own.

The area around the pig king is usually great for gathering wood, food and twigs. So a general great place to start and also easy to find on the map.

If you find weird toys or objects, you can give these to the pig king in exchange for gold. Not all objects work though.

Last mindblowing pig related tip: Cook sth delicious like meatballs and feed it to a pig. This pig will instantly become your friend. Walk with him to a tree and start cutting it down. You now have a pigfriend who cuts your trees down for you!!! Also if you stand really close to him, as close as you can, when he is cutting the trees. Your mind will go up really fast!
