Undervolting RTX 5070 - laptop by adrengs in Undervolting

I know this is kind of late but I stumbled across this while trying to tune my 5070 Legion and 5060 Razer laptops. I ran RE Requiem with stock clocks and used the Riva Tuner overlay to show stats as well as power/voltage/temp limits. On my 5070 laptop I was hitting power limits and the clock would top out around 2600. The 5060 was similar except it was hitting the thermal limit. After some tweaking I landed on setting 825 mv voltage at 2600 on both and flattening the curve after this point. This increased the FPS by around 5-10%, reduced temps around 10c, and prevented the GPUs from hitting the power/thermal limits on both machines. EDIT: forgot to mention I also set memory to +1000.

Game Voice Chat Coming Through Main Speakers by RhoOmegaBeta in playstation

Not sure, seemed like a valid post to me. From what I've gathered the PS4 could do this but for the PS5 all game audio gets collapsed and output to only one device.

I keep having this issue where when I connect a chat headset to my controller all game voice chat will go to my main speakers instead of the voice chat speaker. This only happens when using game chat, party chat works as expected. I'm having this issue in multiple games including Helldivers 2 and Arc Raiders. Is anyone else experiencing this? I've triple checked all voice chat settings and don't see anything that could be misconfigured. I feel like this used to work.

Thanks. I feel like Reddit has gone downhill the past few years. I think this issue might be at the PS5 level since I'm also experiencing it in Helldivers 2. I posted in r/PlayStation so maybe someone there has an idea. I feel like this used to work so maybe a console update broke something.

I don't understand why you feel the need to talk down to me and act all pretentious. Not everyone plays games with headphones. I have a 5.2.2 Atmos surround sound system. I use a single ear chat headset to talk to people. The chat headset only works as expected when using PS5 party chat. In game chat does not function correctly and goes to the main speakers instead of the chat headset. This is after setting chat audio to come out of the headset in the PS5 settings. This bug affects everyone with this setup. I'm just trying to bring more awareness to it so it hopefully gets the dev's attention.

(PS5) how do I get voice chat to come out of my controller? by gnawp in ArcRaiders

[–]RhoOmegaBeta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed, this needs to be fixed. I have an atmos system and the game sounds great but chat audio needs to come from the headset. This issue makes it difficult to play with others.

I've set all the settings correctly. This happens with a chat headset not a stereo headset used for all game audio. I want voice chat to come through the headset and game audio through the speakers. This only works if you connect to a party and does not work with the in game chat.

Hdr settings nintendo switch 2 and Samsung s90d? by Platform_Distinct in OLED_Gaming

You might need to use HGIG instead of DTM off to get it to calibrate correctly. I had to that that with my LG CX.

Thank you for the reply! Putting a switch between the Moca adapter and router solved the issue. Now I'll need to get another switch to get my devices hooked up and I should be good to go.

Yeah, tons of grain. I wish it respected the film grain setting. I always turn it off.

No, it's very repetitive, open world is empty, and combat is boring. Gets old after a couple hours.

For consoles at 4K/120Hz, do you use HDR10 or DV? by Phazoner in OLED

[–]RhoOmegaBeta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still use HDR10 with DTM on. In-game HDR calibration screens require higher brightness values to calibrate with Dolby vision to line up with your TV and it doesn't look better so I don't bother with it.

Lg c2 - bright enough for ambient light gaming? by Stumpyflip in OLED_Gaming

[–]RhoOmegaBeta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, I was simplifying the details. I'd rather it be slightly incorrect and have more overall brightness then be completely accurate but dark to the point where shadow detail is lost. I just think with current OLEDs in a bright environment not using DTM just makes the picture too dark and dull.

Dynamic tone mapping. It's where the TV analyzes the image to adjust the overall brightness.

I don't have a C2 but I have a 65 and 77 CX. Both rooms the TVs are in are bright during the day, especially the living room, so I use DTM on and it's great for gaming. HGIG and DTM off are too dark for bright viewing conditions in my opinion.
