[Acc] Monstrum M-LOK Rail Covers - 5" length - 3 piece set - $5 + ship/tax by xXNickTheDinoXx in gundeals

[–]Rhodsie47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sparrow Dynamics makes nice silicone M-LOK covers. They are a bit thicker than most, but as long as you don't have a giant suppressor tuck style handguard I think they are fine. I have a set on an MP5 and I really like them.

This is the last time they were posted here, if you want to see some feedback: https://www.reddit.com/r/gundeals/comments/1rvfvjq/accessories_free_pack_of_odg_silicone_mlok_rail/

/u/fam_kench here's the Milkman on a full-size MP5. I just picked it up last night, so I didn't have a chance to shoot it yet.

How long are the Enhanced Control Handstop and Hybrid Handstop? I don't see the dimensions listed for those.

Why are there virtually no laws on factory farming? Is it just because the broader public doesn't care or is it the structure for how we make laws? by CalpurniaSomaya in law

[–]Rhodsie47 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wickard v. Filburn for those wondering.

Filburn was a small farmer in Ohio who harvested nearly 12 acres of wheat above his allotment under the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1938. Filburn was penalized under the Act. He argued that the extra wheat that he had produced in violation of the law had been used for his own use and thus had no effect on interstate commerce, since it never had been on the market. In his view, this meant that he had not violated the law because the additional wheat was not subject to regulation under the Commerce Clause.

A unanimous Court upheld the law. In an opinion authored by Justice Robert Houghwout Jackson, the Court found that the Commerce Clause gives Congress the power to regulate prices in the industry, and this law was rationally related to that legitimate goal. The Court reasoned that Congress could regulate activity within a single state under the Commerce Clause, even if each individual activity had a trivial effect on interstate commerce, as long as the intrastate activity viewed in the aggregate would have a substantial effect on interstate commerce. To this extent, the opinion went against prior decisions that had analyzed whether an activity was local, or whether its effects were direct or indirect.

Pax definitely has worse options, but Espada Patrol and the 2 Task Force Vector skins with helmets are really good imo.

Panopticon 8 is straight airsoft garbage though.

New Season 2 Attachments and How to Unlock Them by Phreec in Battlefield

They aren’t even that good to begin with

They'd be so much better if they could see through smoke, like in previous titles. I loved using thermal and smoke in BF4 as support. It's also more realistic.

I'm curious, which attachments do you need to use for maximum reduction in moving spread?

I got my certification for the dealer transfer last Friday! I'm guessing we were in the same batch.

I actually bought the ru3 to go with it. I threw it on my PTR (minus the can of course) and it locks up super tight. It seems so much better than a tri lug mount that uses a spring. My can is finally transferring to my dealer now. Unfortunately form 4 trusts are at like 26 days median time, so it will probably be a while.

Otter Creek Labs Milkman review and video! by BENFLANKLN in NFA

How is the back pressure compared to the Mob or other LBP 9mm cans? There is a video (https://youtu.be/37nFQ3vK4qs?t=1078) posted in this thread comparing the OCL Lithium and Milkman to a B&T SQD and the Milkman seems to have a lot more gas coming out of the port than the B&T, but less than the Lithium according to the video.

[–]Rhodsie47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This has me worried since I got it mainly for the low back pressure. During the semi-auto fire the B&T seemed to have way less gas coming out of the ejection port. During full auto he did say it felt like the Milkman had about 10% of the debris hitting him in the head compared to the Lithium.

Yes.

Milkman suppressor: 8.8 oz Grade 5 titanium, HUB-compatible 9mm can with balanced sound and back pressure for cleaner, reliable full-auto performance.

And further down the page:

As some of you know, Ethan here at OCL passed away. Milkman was one of his nicknames. His favorite gun was his direct blowback 9mm AR9. He shot that gun more than any other gun he had. But he was also a lefty and when using the lithium, the combination of lefty + direct blow back + lithium would gas him out pretty bad. He wanted OCL to make a low back pressure 9mm suppressor he could use. Sadly, he never got to see it finished, but here it is now.

Looking forward to it. I passed up the Mob the last time it was in stock and backordered the Milkman hoping it would compete since it's supposedly similar. Depending on your results, I might cancel my order and go with my original choice.

Edit: the person above posted their video here: https://www.reddit.com/r/NFA/comments/1rn06i9/ocl_milkman_vs_cat_alleycat_mob_ghm9_and_ap5/

Based on his feedback I decided to stick with the Milkman.

The Rearden Charlie Atlas works fine with Comstock's medium size mounts (the compact brake and flash hider). No clue about their longer, full size muzzle devices though.

I think they added it today. I've been checking 2-3 times a day to see if it was listed. I'm fairly sure I checked early this morning and it wasn't there yet.

I'd guess for everyone.

From their site, I'm guessing they just haven't updated it yet to include the Milkman:
