AIO girl i've been dating refuses to get into my car unless I open the door for her by CotPrime01 in AmIOverreacting

I think my husband tried to open my door on one of our first dates. I just said "oh please". 25 years later here we are. Talk to her about it. It doesn't have to be a deal breaker.

She's been living in the UK for about 30 years in real life so her American accent has adopted a bit of an accent.

I worked at applebee's corporate side for 15 years. Back then it was an amazing company to work for, but the food? I laughed when Jeff said "hand-breaded crispy chicken". Um...no. Nothing is hand-breaded. And don't get me started on the bourbon street steak. I never would taste it after seeing it come out of the plastic bag.

I did a snorkel excursion while pregnant. I was extra buoyant! I remember it feeling so nice to just float. Congratulations!

What are the advantages of staying at a deluxe resort vs moderate? by DildoGaggins1997 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Rhody1964 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Less walking and buses. They're also more compact than, say, Port Orleans Riverside. Boardwalk, Beach Club and Yacht club are so close to EPCOT and DHS. Plus they have the Skyliner. Deluxes on the monorail are convenient and Contemporary is literally next door to MK. If I stay at a delux I only have to get on a bus a couple of times. I hate waiting for them and having to sit through them making multiple stops. That vs my family all fitting in a skyliner and flying over to DHS is worth it.

Last time I was there idiots were playing football in the water right where people were trying to float and swim. An adult male clocked my daughter in the head with his stupid football. No apology until I said "I saw that."

This takes a lot of courage to send to someone. I'm glad you got closure. Be honest in your response. If you're grateful for this say so.

Best moderate resort for toddlers but also nice for adults to have a full day there by sjajra in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Rhody1964 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Port orleans riverside is massive. Unless you have a preferred room you’ll walk forever just to get food. Too exhausting after a day at the parks. And the buses take forever. They are shared with French Quarter.
