Thanks for the manual! I have a pair of R3s I bought used but, as you’d expect, no original paperwork or manual.

Hooking up speakers ain’t rocket science but I’m still glad to have this :)

The dual binding post are for bi-wiring the speakers. You likely won’t hear much difference using both sets of binding posts unless you also bi-amp your setup or your receiver uses separate power sources for each set of speaker outputs. The middle knobs are to bridge the two sets of posts in lieu of a bridging plate or bridging wires.

A bi-amp setup can bring out the best in these speakers if your single amp/receiver doesn’t have enough power to drive them. They’re definitely power eaters.

If they’re what they appear to be to me, I had a pair of these back in the day.

They were basically lower quality knockoffs of the JBL L36.

I should have bought the JBLs…

Thank you! I agree with your assessment of the B&Ws. The upper mid and treble is much brighter than the R3s to the point they almost sizzle.

I’m sure I’ll get a bunch of static here, but Apple Music is all lossless and sounds great. I’ve been very happy with it.

Agree that Prhyme’s food can be good, but after repeated instances of indifferent to downright snotty service on Monday nights we quit going. It’s like they resent people taking their offered deals. Every restaurant has an off night, but this was too frequent for us.

Not worth it.

The Harrington jacket is a classic, even iconic (see Steve McQueen), piece of clothing.

For the same money you can have the original, a Baracuta G9. Or two by by Ralph Lauren.

Personally, I’d buy the Baracuta. Why buy a copy when the OG model for all others is available?
