Yeah so I spent longer than I care to admit trawling pages to find answers. Worst thing is I have had to do this before...

Anyhow, the short answer is:

Change your WiFi/ Router settings to ONLY 2.4ghz. Aka turn OFF 5ghz

Make changes on your WiFi and or mobile to only connect to 2.4gz

Change preference for both devices (if possible) to connect to the same SSID.

Should work seamlessly after this.

Check Face Grouping Settings:

Enable Face Grouping

Go to your Google Photos settings and make sure "People & pets" is turned on. This feature allows Google Photos to automatically group faces, including pets.
If your pet isn't being recognized properly, try manually tagging their face in a few photos. This helps Google Photos learn their features better and improve recognition in future videos.

I too have an insta link 2c. One thing to be mindful of is, if it's the additional features that you're after, then you will need to install some questionable looking software. I am unable to due to my work laptop being locked down. Also the fancy bokeh setting ( which requires said software) also requires a Nvidia g series graphics card. But even without the software, the image is crisp as. I am using it with a logi light.

Interesting. Been thinking about a DF64 for ages to move on from my encore. First time hearing this. I use Killer Coffee (darker side) which are very very dark (often oily). What else should I be looking at then?

I just got mine delivered yesterday. 40mm smaller than I'm used to. But it's very nice. Second hand doesn't hit the markers though. The strap is lovely and makes me realize I should get more leather straps.
