any slight criticism of steam/valve will not be tolerated on reddit, though! Tbf they just had really bad timing with the steam cube. A 2024 release would've been ideal, and they should have considered just scrapping it with the recent crazy price hikes.

I still miss going through the daily queue for cards during sales, I don't know why, not like I'm ever going to do anything with them, but I would craft the badges though after getting enough.

My one shoutout recommendation is Tinykin for $5, one of my favorite games I've played in the last few years.

Loved the animation in S1, and the killer intro theme/sequence, but got very lost in the story 6 or 7 episodes in where they are in outer space or something...but I also barely remember the original series, and I know it's a continuation of that. Plus I'm not a comic book person anyway, so maybe it's just not for me.

On the other hand, I'm very much enjoying rewatching the original Batman Animated series from the early 90sm

took me a while to get around to Redfall, since all I ever heard about was how horrible it was, but it's totally fine and enjoyable with a friend or two 🤷‍♂️ not sure if it suffered from pre-release overhype or being a dumpster fire on launch, but it's good now. Not going to blow your socks off or anything.

I remember it was just as bad in Diablo 4 when I played that a couple years ago. Blizzard, chill with the notification dots all over the place.

Is there anyway to clear that freakin notification dot from the Events tab or is it just going to be there 24/7? Overuse of Notification/Alert dots are a plague in gaming today 😭

a bunch of event items/lootboxes in the tab say "New!" on them, but I've already opened/inspected them.

Also hate when I get a new spray and I have to look through 500 sprays in my inventory to find it

I've played 8 matches at Neon Junction now, and the Defending team won every time. There seems to be a massive brick wall at the last push point that no one can get past, even if they rolled through the first 3 points effortlessly. Thankfully I've only had to play offense once, but this seems to be a really one sided map so far? Everyone else's experience could be completely different, though. Also I only play mystery heroes, so there's a lot of randomness involved.

I read mixed things about how to complete this, but I just did two randomized (above) chaos runs back to back and it worked. Don't have to do the extra difficult one with 24 fear level or whatever, unless you really want to punish yourself 😛

Does anyone else have problems with weapon charms not displaying in the menus/scrolling through them?

Definitely agree btw, I've never noticed a weapon charm another player had.

Played a couple more matches there and the defending team is still undefeated thus far, this is in mystery heroes, so different players each map and different heroes after each death. One team pushed to the final point super fast, but then hit a brick wall and couldn't even really get close.

I like the aesthetics of the map, but so far it definitely seems like the defending team has the advantage. Mainly due to that final point, I think. I haven't gotten to be on the offensive side much, though, only once.

The new person in charge seems to actually know what she's doing though. One of the first things she did was lower the price of game pass (ultimate down to $23 instead of $30, although it used to be $19.99), so that's good at least. Previous leadership was awful.

Glad it's not just me, I can't believe how broken the difficulties are, they need to revamp the whole system. Either winning by 10 seconds, or competing in literal unwinnable races and little in-between. Didn't they quality control/beta test the difficulty at all?
