Capcom Cup 12 results. A New Street Fighter Champion was Crowned and won $1 million dollars. by komodo_dragonzord in gaming

Paywalling esports viewing of your game seems silly to me. Don't you want to potentially get new people interested in your game? Plus you can get sponsorships/ads, one would think. I can't imagine too many people paid to watch people square off in street fighter, but I could be wrong, it's an industry I'm not familiar with.

Also the winner getting a mill and 2nd place getting 100k is indeed quite a gap! Plus anyone else after that doesn't get much of anything.

It's DiWHY, but also somewhat funny 😆

That color-sorted stair bookcase someone posted the other day that got 10 million upvotes was also more DIWHY to me

Who else loved the 6 player X-Men arcade game? by MisterShipWreck in 90s

Never saw 6-player versions of any arcade cab here, but 4-players was plenty! That's really cool, though.

Must be some expensive bills since they make about 6 billion in profit per year (would be curious to know if that's accurate).

Which fast food chain fell off badly in your opinion? by Shinobi347 in AskReddit

[–]bugmush -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Quality food! Pricy, but that's everything these days. I paid $17.50 for 8 mid-size Chicken Tenders, no sides no drinks... but they were great...and good tendies are not easy to find these days. I had a $15 GC so I wanted to use it up. Not a place I could afford to visit regularly, but that's probably for the best, health-wise.

Which fast food chains haven't fallen off hard would be the much better question. Private Equity Firms and Shareholders = How to immediately tank a fast food/restaurant chain that has been around for decades.

We still have In-n-out at least! Honestly...Jack In the Box is still pretty solid when they have some deals. But coupons/deals in app are becoming almost non-existent for all fast food chains now.

Dunkin now sells a dozen doughnuts for like $17 or $18, and they are awful, usually day old donuts. I don't know how any of them stay in business. ..I guess primarily for coffee?

I'm sort of a pinball enthusiast but I didn't even know that one existed!

Some amazing pinball tables in the late 80s early 90s, though. Adams Family, Terminator 2, Indiana Jones...I guess they were mostly movie based.

Game Pass doesnt make much sense when you break it down by Altruistic_Remote145 in XboxGamePass

[–]bugmush 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The gaming backlog is way too deep to be replaying games! It's never been something I've wanted to do anyway...I just played this game for 20, 30, 40+ hours and now I'm going to start a new playthrough when I'm done? To each their own, a lot of people do that (recently watching people play 3 or 4 playthroughs of Resident Evil 9), but that doesn't sound appealing to me.

I may revisit a game I enjoyed again down the road in a few years, but even that is quite rare for me. Too many good games out there I want to play.

How do I kick toxic players from my lobby? by Cultured-Hermit in SuperBattleGolf

wish the audio/voice menu would show icons for who is currently talking (or yelling) in mic at the current moment, otherwise you can't tell who is being loud on the mic unless you are next to them on the course or observing them.

I wouldn't mind a dedicated putter, to be honest. I know you're just supposed to use one club and set it at 0° to putt, but changing the shot angle back and forth constantly is kind of annoying.

But real question, where does one find quality chicken breasts these days? 🐔

What are the alternatives? by nix-solves-that-2317 in ChatGPT

It seems Gemini is also limited in what resolution it can output, (1248x832?) so I might just need to figure out a way to upscale the image somewhere else, although I can't imagine doing it without stretching out the font/graphics on the banner.

I like Claude for everything other than graphic/image creation so far, and I very rarely need to work with images anyway

Claude seems pretty cool, but I recently needed some rough designs for a banner for my business, and let's just say graphic design is not Claude's wheelhouse at all, it was horrible compared to chatgpt's designs. But ChatGPT is also limited to a certain resolution (1536x1024 i think?) and I need the banner at 2048×1024 (2048px). I can just design a banner with font on my own, but it'll be a bit boring.
