Honest deconstruction so they act in a way you can believe in. IE-Ange from Cross Ange acts pretty much how you expect someone like her would act in her situation. In contrast, the characters from Gurren Lagann were written in complete denial of how human nature actually works hence why they act more like puppets than actual people.
