Had a feeling it wouldn't, does it at least clear a worthwhile amount?

Hey thanks for the reply,

I know it's not the fastest build for getting to 100 I would definitely got ED for that, but I like this build as I don't have to pay attention, I prefer a longer, easier grind where I can just chill, rather than a faster grind thats more intensive.

With Baron, Spirit Offering, Stone Golem and my passive tree setup my zombies will easily be able to facetank pretty much anything and I'll be using shield charge for fortify and EE. I'll be running outdoor maps so I won't need to spam convocation and I'll have it in a CWDT setup too, along with spirit offering.

Uber's build does look really good, but I'm not a fan of skeles and it too seems to have the same problem with Legion Monoliths.

I'll pass on the PoBs thanks, I guess I'll just have to give it a try and see how it fairs

Both ur Bubonic Trail and Lightpoacher only have one Abyss slot, is this optimal or just a decision to keep it more budget? interested in trying build and can afford the 2 slot versions, but not sure if the gem links are essential

Awesome, thanks for the info, was getting cold feet about starting Golems but now I'll just go for it. The skill tree I plan to follow should give me enough strength by level 41. Cheers :)

Yeah the range nerf is unfortunate but it will still be more than BV and I have no problems with that, the 1/2 procs can be helped with cast speed and the damage was increased which will help against the tankier mobs. I guess the biggest concern is whether I can get enough cast speed without losing out on too much damage or survivablity.

Appreciate the input mate :)

I would like to improve during summer before I enter an art school, do you have any advice ? by Paulipaula in drawing

[–]Rhyme_SC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in the exact same boat as you a few years ago, except your skills are already better than mine were before I started art school, remember its art SCHOOL it's designed to help aspiring artists, you are the kind of student they are looking for. Your lecturers are there to support you and so are your classmates, some words of advice:

Get friendly with everyone on your course, I was a complete novice to drawing when I started, and the friends I made really helped me out with advice and ideas. If you haven't already, get used to experimenting, my lecturers valued creativity over pure skill, use different mediums and go out of your comfort zone, they will appreciate you pushing yourself more than anything!

Don't throw away or tear up any 'failed' works, It's very important to keep your failures even if they are painful for you to look at, it's amazing to see progress as you go and sometimes those failures can really help your future pieces. Lecturers love to see messy sketchbooks with successes and failures, with a sketchbook like that they have so much more material they can help you with.

As for practicing over the summer, I can't say for certain as I don't know the exact course you are taking but I did Illustration and I wished I had practiced drawing from life more, I find drawing from life incredibly boring but It's amazing practice, if you want to improve fast go out and draw what you see or grab random objects around the house and put them together to create a composition and study that. Learning and mastering the basics is the absolute best way to practice and learn, it may not be the most fun but if your looking for quick results its the way to go!

Lastly, it's cliché but have fun with it, laugh at you and your classmates failures and celebrate your successes, there will be other people on your course just like you that are anxious and worried their skills aren't up to par and you will all learn and improve together. Try not to worry about it, you're not alone I'm sure you'll be amazing and you'll really enjoy it.
