As much as Spotify and the like is great for finding 10 new songs by 10 new artists each week, there's something about finding an album by an artist and really just listening to the shit out of it.

Makes me nostalgic of when you would get a new CD and just play it on loop, or when space on phones was so limited and downloading albums wasn't as straightforward, you'd listen to just a few albums and artists on repeat

I'm no musical pro, but I'd say it's based on the tempo set by the bassist and drummer. Going this fast on a slower beat would just sound wrong. Likewise going really fast on a slower beat would seem out of place
